              Recognition Counts provides financial counseling and a fixed-rate loan of up to $10,000 for eligible skilled immigrants wishing to work in their fields of expertise in Manitoba. The loan period of up to five years covers three stages for accreditation (two years – interest payments only), job search/employment (six months – interest only), and then repayment of remaining principal and interest balance.

              To offer loans to owner operated small- to medium-sized enterprises and community development corporations unable to secure financing on acceptable terms from conventional sources.
              CEDF Micro Loan Line $10,000
              CEDF can process the application for Micro Loan for a maximum of $10,000. The loans are offered at prime plus 2.25% for a five year term.

              To aid Manitoba businesses in moving forward by supporting product and process commercialization and business development.

              Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) $5,000
              Funding opportunity for entrepreneurs with disabilities in Manitoba.
              Elevate Business Various Amounts
              This program assists entrepreneurs locating their businesses in rural, remote or northern communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba.
              Manitoba Business Start Program (BSP) $30,000
              Provides loan-guarantees to entrepreneurs to cover costs associated with business registration, incorporation, and promotions, to purchase inventory and equipment, and provide working capital.
              Small Business Venture Capital Tax Credit Program $135,000
              To encourage and facilitate entrepreneurial and employment opportunities within Manitoba through the establishment of new businesses or the expansion/retention of existing Manitoba businesses.
              Indigenous Business Development Services $5,000
              Up to $5,000 in grants for new and existing Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Metis) Manitoba-based businesses
              Rural Entrepreneur Assistance (REA) $200,000
              To provide loan guarantees to support business loans to new and expanding, full-time, small and home-based businesses in northern and rural Manitoba.
              Startup Program – North Forge Technology Exchange Various Amounts
              North Forge Technoloy Exhange works with Startup Manitoba to connect marketable ideas with the talent needed to launch them, and resource access to fuel growth, by organizing meet-ups and ramp-up weekends, offering startup space and Community Enterprise Partnership.
              Manitoba Innovation Growth Side Car Fund $500,000
              The Fund will co-invest between $200,000 and $500,000 with one or more investors, providing funding to an early-stage Manitoba venture, allowing investors to increase their investment in individual companies and/or increase their number of investments.
              Stocker Loans $750,000
              To provide financing for the purchase of steer and heifer calves, and feeder cows.
              Growing Competitiveness – Agri-Extension $75,000
              This program provides financial assistance for the development and delivery of group learning activities for knowledge sharing, information transfer, networking and partnership development amongst industry stakeholders; including resources, workshops, and symposia for Agricultural producers in Manitoba.
              CEDF Fisheries Loan Program $75,000
              Offers loans to Licensed Commercial Harvesters and to businesses related to fisheries to assist with the purchase or repair of equipment, the purchase of quota entitlement, and to provide working capital.
              Canadian Seafood Stabilization Fund Various Amounts
              Funding opportunity for Fish and seafood processing businesses in western Canada.
              Direct Loans $4,750,000
              To provide loans for land, conventional and breeding livestock, permanent improvements, debt consolidation, farm buildings and start-up shares in modern co-ops.

              Farmers and rural entrepreneurs located in Manitoba can apply for loan funding to receive assistance with developing market opportunities of producing alternative energy.
              Manitoba Livestock Associations Loan Guarantee $500,000
              To organize livestock associations and offer members lower costs by way of volume purchases of cattle and financing.

              AgriInvest is one of the business risk management programs the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP)
              Growing Competitiveness – Next Generation Various Amounts
              This program provides funding for individual skill development and professional consulting services that enhance business management, including assessment, analysis, financial planning, risk management, marketing and leadership
              Diversification Loan Guarantees (DLG) $750,000
              Provides a guarantee to commercial lenders in order for farmers to access funds to bring on new opportunities by looking at innovation and diversification.

              To encourage Manitobas young people to start their own full-time businesses and pursue self-employment as a career choice.
              Innovation Growth Program $100,000
              Cost-sharing assistance to Manitoba SMEs to assist them in developing and commercializing new innovative products and processes.
              Business Start Program $30,000
              BSP is a loan guarantee program, wherein a new business owner has to participate in a three-day business workshop and can then apply for a BSP loan of up to $30,000. This will be a five-year term loan with an interest rate of prime plus one percent, and offers a one-year deferral of principal repayment in order to help the new business get started before starting repayment.
              Healthy Hire Manitoba Program $50,000
              Manitoba employers can apply for provincial support to help cover the wages of new employees who can attest they have been vaccinated, intend to be vaccinated or are unable to be vaccinated.
              First Peoples Economic Growth Fund – Business Plan Assistance $20,000
