The Canadian government does provide small business financial assistance to eligible applicants who complete the approval process successfully, but there are no free Canadian government grants & loans. Not every application for loans & grants will be approved, however. This is for a number of reasons ranging from mistakes made on their application, not being able to convince the government they would make good use of any funding received, not properly preparing a case for their need, or there being a more qualified applicant for a loans or grants program with limited funding.
